Deutsches Musikautomaten-Museum, Musical automatons museum in Bruchsal, Germany

The German Museum of Musical Automata displays over 300 self-playing instruments across three floors within the Baroque palace of Bruchsal.

Established in 1984, this institution presents mechanical musical instruments from three centuries, including music boxes, orchestrions, and early phonographs.

The collection demonstrates the evolution of music reproduction technology from mechanical devices through the transition to modern digital formats.

The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with admission prices of 8 euros for adults and 4 euros at reduced rates.

The museum houses an organ originally commissioned for the RMS Titanic's dining room, which never made it aboard due to manufacturing delays.
