Organ in St. Cyprian-and Cornelius church

The pipe organ contains 22 stops distributed across two manuals and a pedal board, representing northern German organ construction techniques.

Master organ builder Arp Schnitger constructed this instrument in 1699, followed by Johann Hinrich Klapmeyer's addition of a six-register pedal board in 1760.

Monthly concerts occur on first Fridays at 16:00, presenting various organists performing classical compositions in the church's grand interior.

The organ underwent a complete restoration in 2005 by Heiko Lorenz, requiring an investment of 320,000 euros for repairs and modernization.

The instrument incorporates pipes from five different builders: Schnitger, Klapmeyer, Schmid, Führer, and Lorenz, each contributing to its distinct sound.
