The Denkmal Nikolaus Friedrich Peter is a rectangular granite obelisk set within the Tiergarten park in Delmenhorst-Deichhorst. A bronze plate mounted on its surface displays the profile portrait of the former ruler along with his personal motto.

Nikolaus Friedrich Peter, Grand Duke of Oldenburg as Peter II from 1853 to 1900, was conservative and realpolitik-minded. His turn toward Prussia after 1866 secured Oldenburg's continued existence and membership in the North German Confederation, and in 1871 it became a federal state of the German Empire. The Kriegerverein Deichhorst erected the monument in 1912.

The monument was erected by the Kriegerverein Deichhorst, a local veterans' association, and inaugurated in 1912. Its granite obelisk carries the motto "Ein Gott, ein Recht, eine Wahrheit" (One God, one law, one truth), the Wahlspruch of Grand Duke Peter II. The surrounding chains and six stone posts were removed during the Second World War.
