The Evangelical Church Centre Kronsberg features concrete construction with glass walls on three sides and blue-tinted translucent panels in the altar area.
The construction began in May 1999 following Bernhard Hirche's winning design selection, with inauguration ceremonies taking place in October 2000.
The church functions as a simultaneum, allowing both Lutheran and Baptist congregations to conduct their religious services within the same building.
The complex contains 25 residential apartments, including dedicated housing for the sexton and pastor, arranged around a central courtyard called Brunnenhof.
The bells installed at the church center originated from St. Ansgar's Church in Hanover and were ceremonially presented during Advent 2001.
