Built between 1897 and 1898 by the von Götz family, this castle replaced an earlier manor house that was demolished in 1902.
The building represents the 19th-century German interpretation of medieval castle architecture, incorporating elements from fairy tale illustrations.
Located in Saxony, the castle has transformed from a private residence to serve as a sanatorium and care facility for children until 1992.
The property spans 1,245 square meters and includes stables and a carriage house added in 1904, with a smaller 465-square-meter manor built in 1909.
