Maille, Urban park in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany.
The Maille park stretches across an island formed by the Rossneckar and Wehrneckar canals, featuring numerous walking paths lined with chestnut and linden trees.
The park's name originates from the 18th century, referencing the Paille-Maille game, while systematic tree planting began between 1751 and 1752.
In 1828, the park served as the venue for the afternoon celebrations of the second Swabian Song Festival, establishing its role in local traditions.
Visitors can access the park through the Vogelsang Bridge and Inner Bridge, with the adjacent café offering refreshments and indoor seating throughout the year.
The park grounds contain the historical Lorch-Areal, a former factory site transformed into a cultural center, featuring an Art Nouveau residential building from 1903.
