Villa Tübke, Art villa in Gohlis district, Leipzig, Germany.
Villa Tübke is a two-story residential building in the Gohlis district with distinctive Art Nouveau features. The structure combines private living areas with studio spaces and gallery rooms for art exhibitions.
The building was constructed in 1905 and 1906, representing the architecture of that period. The artist Tübke moved in during 1977 and made it his residence and workplace until 2004.
The house carries the name of Werner Tübke, who lived and worked here for nearly three decades. The rooms reflect the close connection between living space and artistic practice that defined this painter's life.
The ground-floor gallery shows rotating exhibitions alongside permanent artworks on display. The former studio functions as an additional exhibition space and provides a complete view of the building's interior.
The studio on the upper floor holds a separate collection of works offering an especially intimate view of the artist's creative process. These spaces are managed by a specialized association and often remain hidden from general visitors.
