St. Jakobus, Filial church in Schondorf am Ammersee, Germany.

The church rises from a tuff stone foundation, featuring a prominent baroque bell tower topped with an onion dome on its western gable.

Construction of the church began in 1150 under the ministerial family of Konrad from Schondorf, marking its establishment during the High Middle Ages.

The interior exhibits a baroque high altar from 1660 with a central statue of St James, accompanied by statues of Saints Mark and Catherine.

Visitors can find the church at St.-Jakob's-Bergerl 2 in Schondorf am Ammersee, overlooking the beach promenade of Lake Ammersee.

The church structure measures 18 meters in length, 7.5 meters in width, and 8 meters in height, with cross-ribbed vaults supported by rectangular pillars.
