Palaisgarten, Heritage park in Neustadt, Dresden, Germany

The Palaisgarten extends between Marienbrücke Bridge, Japanese Palace, Elbe River bank, and Palaisplatz Square, featuring green spaces and landscape architecture.

The garden was established in 1715 as a Baroque garden for Count Jakob Heinrich von Flemming, along with the construction of what later became the Japanese Palace.

The garden hosts the annual Palaissommer festival from mid-July to late August, presenting numerous events that attract over 83,000 visitors.

Two ancient plane trees planted between 1770 and 1780 remain standing in the garden, providing natural shade for visitors throughout the seasons.

The garden includes a section of the old Dresden fortification walls, still visible in the northwestern part of the park.
