Fuggereimuseum, Historical museum in Augsburg, Germany.
The Fuggereimuseum occupies three rooms in the last original house of the Fuggerei, displaying living conditions from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Established in 1957, the museum documents the story of Jakob Fugger, who created the world's first social housing settlement in 1521 through a foundation deed.
The exhibition space presents five detailed biographies of former residents across different centuries, illustrating social developments in the Fuggerei community.
Visitors can explore the museum daily from 9:00 to 20:00 between April and September, and from 9:00 to 18:00 from October through March.
The museum contains a reconstructed flat from 1517 with period-accurate furnishings based on research findings from Augsburg City and Fugger Archives.
