Paulinenschlösschen

Paulinenschlösschen is a three-story villa in Bad Soden am Taunus with outbuildings, a courtyard, and gardens within the Old Spa Park grounds. The complex also includes former stables and utility buildings that now serve different functions.

Duchess Pauline of Nassau had the villa built in 1847 following her stay at the Soden spa. Over the decades, the building served various purposes, from a wellness center to its current role as a citizens' office.

The villa takes its name from Duchess Pauline, who used it as her summer residence. The place reflects how important spa stays were for wealthy people during the 1800s.

The building now houses the citizens' office and is not freely accessible for casual visits. Visitors should check in advance whether the villa is included in any guided tours or if viewing from outside is possible.

In the 1950s, artist Hans Wagner created murals inside the villa when it was transformed into a restaurant and café. These painted decorations remain a visible trace of the creative work done during that period.
