Founded in 1456 and named after Bishop Godehard von Hildesheim, the church stands as an essential part of Brandenburg's medieval religious architecture.
The sandstone pulpit created by Georg Zimmermann in 1623 and late-Gothic carvings from 1500 represent the artistic craftsmanship of different periods.
