Schloss Rosenburg, Medieval castle in Riedenburg, Germany
The castle features residential buildings constructed in South German Renaissance style with characteristic staircase gables and a ground floor chapel.
Duke Ludwig I of Bavaria acquired the castle in 1196, and it has remained under the ownership of House Wittelsbach through the centuries.
The castle chapel contains wall paintings from 1560, representing the artistic and religious elements of medieval Bavarian architecture.
The falconry museum operates from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 AM and 5 PM, with flight demonstrations at 11 AM and 3 PM.
The castle houses a specialized falconry center where visitors can observe and learn about various birds of prey through live demonstrations.
