Goliathhaus

The Goliathhaus is a Gothic residential tower in central Regensburg featuring a large fresco painting that covers much of its facade. The mural depicts the biblical battle between David and Goliath in vibrant colors and serves as the building's most distinctive visual feature.

Built in the 13th century, the tower was constructed as a residential stronghold for the Thundorfer family, one of Regensburg's wealthiest merchant clans. The family occupied it for generations before its use changed in later centuries.
