Gymnasium St. Augustin, Historical school building in Grimma, Germany.

The Gymnasium St. Augustin consists of two buildings near the Mulde River, featuring Neo-renaissance architecture completed in 1891 for advanced education.

Duke Moritz of Saxony established this educational institution in 1550 as the third Saxon princely school, using a former Augustine monastery building.

The school upholds the motto 'Pietati - Virtuti - Doctrinae', representing core values of reverence for life, vigor, and willingness to learn.

Students from grades 5 to 12 receive instruction in the Moldanum building and Seume-Haus, with boarding facilities available for residential students.

The institution remains the sole regular gymnasium in Saxony that maintains an active boarding arrangement for its student population.
