Herz-Jesu-Kirche, Catholic church in Bremerhaven-Lehe, Germany.
The Herz-Jesu-Kirche features red brick walls, a high tower reaching 55 meters, and a gabled roof covered with red tiles.
Construction of this Gothic Revival church occurred between 1910 and 1911, funded by an anonymous donor who contributed 60,000 Goldmarks to the project.
The church belongs to the Catholic Parish of Hl Herz Jesu within the Deanery of Bremerhaven in the Diocese of Hildesheim.
Three bells from 1959 ring in the tower: Herz-Jesu-Glocke, Marienglocke, and Josephglocke, each serving different religious functions throughout the day.
The church structure incorporates Gothic Revival elements with Art Nouveau details, designed by architect Maximilian Jagielski who specialized in historicist buildings.
