Herz-Jesu-Kirche, Romanesque Revival church in Neckarstadt-West, Mannheim, Germany
The Sacred Heart Church features a three-nave basilica design with a transept, semicircular choirs, and a single dominant tower facade measuring 41.46 meters in length.
The church was constructed between 1901 and 1904 according to Ludwig Maier's plans and received consecration from Archbishop Thomas Nörber on May 24, 1908.
The interior of the Sacred Heart Church contains numerous artistic elements, including paintings and decorative works that reflect religious and architectural traditions.
Located on Mittelstrasse, the main street of Neckarstadt-West, the church houses an organ from 1988 with 39 registers across four manuals and one pedal.
The church bells include a small bell from 1729 and additional bells cast in 1904 that survived the church fire of 1943.
