Herz-Jesu-Kirche

Herz-Jesu-Kirche is a church building with a three-nave basilica design crowned by a prominent tower. The structure features a well-proportioned layout with a transept and semicircular choirs that define its interior space.

This building was constructed between 1901 and 1904 and received its consecration in 1908. A fire in 1943 caused damage, but important elements were preserved and later restored.

The church sits on Mittelstrasse, the main street of the neighborhood, making it easy to find and access. The building is well-appointed and designed for visitors to move through comfortably.

A small bell inside dates back to the early 1700s and predates the building by two centuries. This piece tells a story of how items from different eras were brought together under one roof.
