Johanneskirche Crailsheim, Gothic church building in Crailsheim, Germany.

The Johanneskirche features three prominent towers that define the skyline of central Crailsheim and the Kreuzberg district.

Construction of the church began on February 22, 1398, incorporating stones from its Romanesque predecessor until completion in 1440.

The high altar from 1490 displays paintings of John the Baptist and Christ's Passion, created in Michael Wolgemut's workshop.

Visitors can park their vehicles at Grabenstraße or the nearby parking garage for 0.70 EUR per hour.

Wall paintings from the 15th century depicting the legend of three living and three dead were discovered above the north portal in 1967.
