St. Dionysius, Baroque parish church in Neckarsulm, Germany
St. Dionysius church stands on a rock formation above Sulmtal valley, featuring a tall tower that defines Neckarsulm's architectural landscape.
The current structure, built between 1706 and 1710, replaced several previous churches dating back to the 8th century at this location.
The church houses a choir established in 1819, which performs religious music during services and maintains a schedule of regular concerts.
The church offers weekly mass services and maintains an organ built by Johannes Klais Orgelbau in 2015, distributed across three cases.
During World War II, the church's interior elements were removed for protection, with only the tower and parts of walls surviving the 1945 bombing.
