Kloster Hof is a medieval monastic complex on the Saale River in the town of Hof, housing both a Franciscan monastery and a Clarissan convent. The monastery developed during the Middle Ages into a significant spiritual center with economic influence in the region. A major Hussite assault in 1430 completely destroyed the complex, which was subsequently reconstructed.
