Kollegiatstift St. Maria, Feuchtwangen

The Kollegiatstift St. Maria is a monastery complex in Feuchtwangen featuring a church with late Gothic and early Renaissance architectural details. The compound includes multiple buildings that once provided living and working spaces for its clergy members.

The foundation was established as a Benedictine monastery in 818 and later became a secular canonical community. This transformation over the medieval centuries made it an important religious institution under the protection of German rulers.
