Lahmannring 3

Lahmannring 3 is a timber-clad residential building from the late 1800s with bay windows, balconies, and design elements reminiscent of Swiss architecture. The main structure sits within a larger property that includes a coach house and landscaped grounds.

The building was constructed in the late 1870s as a summer residence for a prosperous business owner. In subsequent years it served as a medical facility and later underwent use as a school and boarding facility.

The interior spaces feature wall paintings and decorative details from the early 1900s that reflect how prosperous residents lived at that time. These artistic touches show the tastes and craftsmanship valued by the people who occupied these rooms.

The property sits in a quiet residential neighborhood in Dresden and is easily viewable from the street. As a protected monument, visitors can observe the architecture from outside, though interior access may be limited.
