Kulturinsel Einsiedel, Adventure park in Neißeaue, Germany.
Kulturinsel Einsiedel is an adventure park spanning over 100 hectares with wooden structures including treehouses, underground tunnels, suspension bridges, and climbing areas. The design features multiple paths for exploration and varying difficulty levels suited to different visitor groups.
The park developed as an interactive leisure area with wooden structures representing a fictional realm called Turisede. A major expansion in 2024 added new entrance areas and additional role-playing elements that extended this invented world.
The Kronum theater space with its 23 wooden galleries hosts performances that reflect local stories and regional traditions. The bridges and staircases connecting these levels create a distinctive setting where the building itself becomes part of the performance.
The park operates daily from March through October with the best conditions during dry weather. Winter months offer indoor spaces and animal viewing areas, keeping the site accessible year-round.
A floating bridge crosses the Neisse River to connect the German section with an adventure village in Polish Bielawa Dolna on the opposite bank. This border-crossing feature gives visitors a rare opportunity to experience play that spans two countries.
