Kulturzentrum Bahnhof-Langendreer

The Kulturzentrum Bahnhof-Langendreer operates in a former railway station building and provides two concert halls, a cinema, and multiple event spaces. The venues accommodate performances ranging from small gatherings to large concerts with capacity for around 600 people.

The building was constructed between 1907 and 1908 in modified Art Nouveau style and initially served as a railway station. In 1984, local citizens saved it from demolition and transformed it into a cultural center.

The center presents concerts, theater performances, cabaret, and films that draw both local audiences and visitors from the surrounding region. These events create spaces for people to gather and engage with contemporary issues together.

The venue is located at Wallbaumweg 108 in Bochum and operates two event halls to accommodate different types of performances. Visitors can check the program ahead of time to understand the layout and size of the space for each event.

The endstation.kino cinema and a cafe occupy the former luggage rooms of this heritage-protected building. The center forms part of the Industrial Heritage Trail and connects the region's railway past with present-day cultural activities.
