Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang, Cable car station in Nesselwang, Germany
The Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang combines an 8-person gondola system with a 4-person chairlift, transporting visitors from the village to 1500 meters elevation.
The installation of the first combined lift system in 2006 marked the beginning of modern transportation infrastructure at the Alpspitze mountain in Nesselwang.
The mountain station restaurants serve regional dishes from the Allgäu region while offering views across both German and Austrian Alpine landscapes.
The lift system maintains a transportation capacity of 6000 passengers per hour across its network of six different installations spanning 4.9 kilometers.
The AlpspitzKICK, integrated into the facility complex, functions as Germany's fastest zipline, while AlpspitzSPLASH provides a floating climbing experience on the reservoir.
