Schloss in Rödelsee is a two-story structure organized around a central courtyard with four round towers at its corners and decorative lion sculptures flanking the entrance gate. The symmetrical layout and fortified towers create an imposing perimeter that defines the property.

The castle was built around 1600 and remained under the ownership of the Freiherren von Crailsheim family for roughly three and a half centuries. In 1954 a regional wine cooperative purchased the property and transformed it into a working facility.

The wine cellar connects the castle to the region's winemaking traditions and still functions as storage for wines from local vineyards. This reflects how central viticulture has been to the area's identity and daily life.

The castle is located at Schlossstraße 2 in Rödelsee, Bavaria and is easily accessible by road. The grounds are open to visitors who can view the courtyard, towers, and sculptures from the exterior.

A historical wine press dating from 1660 sits in the castle courtyard, demonstrating the pressing techniques used in the region centuries ago. This surviving equipment offers a tangible link to how local wine production worked in the past.
