Schloss Friedrichsburg, Renaissance château in Vohenstrauß, Germany.
The Friedrichsburg Castle features a rectangular main building with five round towers, steep gabled roofs, and decorative granite cornices marking each floor level.
Constructed between 1586 and 1593 by Count Palatine Friedrich, the castle was designed by architect Leonhardt Greineisen from Burglengenfeld with Italian master builder Hans Meria.
The castle serves as a central venue for exhibitions, theater performances by the Upper Palatinate State Theater, and regular jazz concerts throughout the year.
The castle provides conference facilities with projection equipment and hosts various events including weddings, birthday celebrations, and business meetings in its restored rooms.
The structure measures 40.84 meters in length and 18.57 meters in width, encompassing a net floor area of 2,225 square meters across three floors.
