Manufaktur der Träume, Toy and decorative arts museum in Annaberg-Buchholz, Germany
The museum occupies three floors dedicated to distinct experiences: seeing different worlds, participating in activities, and discovering spaces for imagination and contemplation.
Established in 2010, the museum preserves the regional heritage of toy manufacturing from the Erzgebirge area, where mining and craftsmanship shaped local traditions.
The exhibition displays numerous handcrafted landscapes filled with figures, characters, miners, and angels that represent German folk art and storytelling traditions.
The facility welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 to 18:00, offering guided tours in multiple languages and maintaining complete wheelchair accessibility throughout the building.
Interactive stations allow visitors to engage with historical toys through multimedia presentations, while special exhibitions explore toy manufacturing across Saxon and Bohemian regions.
