The museum was established in 2010 and preserves the regional heritage of toy manufacturing from the Erzgebirge area, where mining and craftsmanship shaped local traditions. This history of skilled craft production goes back generations and is documented within its collections.
The handcrafted landscapes display figures, characters, miners, and angels rooted in German folk art and storytelling traditions. Visitors can see how these works represent regional stories and values that remain alive in local culture today.
The building is fully accessible and allows every visitor to comfortably reach all areas. The museum offers guided tours in multiple languages and welcomes self-guided exploration of its exhibitions.
