Schloss Guteborn, Renaissance château in Guteborn, Germany.
The four-story castle featured four corner towers with domed roofs, surrounded by a moat and encompassed by protective walls.
From 1397 to 1622, the noble Gersdorff family resided in the castle before it transferred to the von Hoym family and later to Schönburg-Waldenburg princes.
The castle chapel, constructed in 1737, contained a baroque bell tower, clock, and lantern, with an organ installed in 1755.
The castle grounds covered 2,514 hectares of agricultural land in 1937, managed under the supervision of an estate director.
King Friedrich August III of Saxony signed his abdication at Schloss Guteborn on November 13, 1918, during the German Revolution.
