St. Johannes-Evangelist-Kirche, Lutheran church in Auguststrasse, Berlin-Mitte, Germany.
The church features five pairs of rounded arch windows along its side walls and a white plastered masonry construction with an asymmetrical gabled roof.
Built between 1898 and 1900 under architect Bürkner's direction, the church replaced a small brick chapel that existed on the same site since 1859.
The interior displays mosaics created by Peter Ludwig Kowalski in 1953, which divide the church space into distinct sections with baptismal font alcoves.
Since March 2017, the St. Johannes-Evangelist Church serves the Antiochian Orthodox congregation of St. Georgios for regular services and gatherings.
The church contains a Wilhelm Sauer organ from 1900, which survived through multiple renovations and restorations of the building.
