St. Johannes am Vorderanger, Baroque church in Landsberg am Lech, Germany.
The church features an oval interior supported by eight pillars and includes a quadrangular nave with a semicircular choir section.
The first documentation of a church at this location dates to 1219, with construction of the current structure beginning under Abbot Leonhard von Wessobrunn in 1458.
The interior displays numerous religious artworks, including the main altar designed by Jörg Pfeifer in 1680 and the Rosary altar by Dominikus Zimmermann from 1721.
The church underwent extensive renovations between 2007 and 2010, strengthening structural elements and restoring important architectural features under architect Christoph Maas.
The church tower contains one of Bavaria's oldest bells, cast in 1417, and houses nearly 100 preserved gravestones from different historical periods.
