Synagogue Hohe Weide, Synagogue in Eimsbüttel, Germany.

The five-sided synagogue building features a distinctive copper roof topped with a Star of David at the corner of Hohe Weide and Heymannstrasse.

Following World War II, Hamburg's Jewish community used temporary locations until 1960, when this new synagogue opened after receiving land from the city in 1956.

The synagogue functions as the primary religious center for Hamburg's Jewish community, offering regular services, educational programs, and community gatherings throughout the year.

Police maintain constant security measures around the synagogue, with a section of Hohe Weide street closed to motor vehicles for safety purposes.

The building complex includes a courtyard layout connecting the main prayer hall with a community center through an entrance foyer.
