Theater Ansbach, Municipal theatre in Ansbach, Germany
Theater Ansbach presents theatrical productions, concerts, and puppet shows within multiple performance spaces, including the Gelber Saal and Kleines Haus.
Founded in 2007 by the Ansbacher cooperative Kultur im Schloss, the theatre commenced operations with its first season in September 2008, featuring 11 productions.
The theatre maintains strong connections with local artists and organizations, presenting numerous performances that span drama, music, and dance throughout the year.
The box office operates Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, offering tickets for purchase both in person and online.
During each Advent Sunday at 18:00, the theatre ensemble performs Christmas readings at the Caféwagen on Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Platz without admission fees.
