Volkskunde Museum Schleswig

Volkskunde Museum Schleswig is a house dedicated to displaying objects from everyday life and work across a northern region. Thousands of household items, farming equipment, and workshop tools fill the rooms to show how families and craftspeople organized their daily activities and spaces.

The collection began in the late 1800s from a scholar's private interest in recording the material culture around him. After damage during World War II, the museum was rebuilt and expanded at its current location.
