The water tower stands 43.5 meters tall with a round roof cap that extends seven meters above the central water tank in a pine grove setting.
Built between 1936 and 1938, this industrial structure provided drinking water to local residents until its decommissioning in 1978.
The water tower hosts the annual Water Festival every third Sunday in September, opening its doors for public exploration and community gatherings.
Visitors can climb 170 steps through a narrow staircase that passes through the middle of the water tank to reach the observation level.
From the 36-meter viewing platform, observers can see Frankfurt's skyline and panoramic views across the Maine plain toward Taunus, Spessart, and Odenwald mountains.
