Kunsthalle Messmer

The museum occupies a renovated brewery building with three floors of exhibition spaces and an outdoor sculpture garden along the river landscape.

The Kunsthalle opened in 2009 and gained recognition through its first major exhibition of Vasarely works, which attracted over 12,000 visitors in 2010.

The institution organizes three temporary exhibitions annually, presenting international artists and maintaining a focus on concrete-constructive art and figurative expressions.

The museum charges entrance fees of 13.50 euros for adults and 11.50 euros for students, with special rates for families and free entry for children under eight.

The museum features an 850-square-meter sculpture garden displaying works by artists such as Gerald Baschek, Hellmut Bruch, and Gerhard Frömel.
