The Theodor-Zink-Museum occupies a former farmhouse with a half-hipped roof and vaulted cellar within the historic Wadgasserhof building complex.
Founded in 1934 through the collections of local researcher Theodor Zink, the museum relocated to its current location in 1978 after surviving World War II.
The permanent exhibition presents regional artifacts and documents chronicling Kaiserslautern's development from early settlements through the 20th century.
The museum welcomes visitors Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and weekends from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
A former brewery and malt house until 1933, the building underwent complete renovation in the 1970s before transforming into the current museum space.
