The Sky-Hochhaus stands 70 meters tall with 18 floors, featuring glass facades that provide natural light throughout the commercial and residential spaces.
Construction of the Sky-Hochhaus began in 2014 on a former freight yard site purchased by Bietigheimer Wohnbau for 660,000 euros and concluded in 2016.
The building earned the nickname 'Langer Jürgen' from local residents, referencing Jürgen Kessing, the mayor of Bietigheim-Bissingen during its construction.
The structure contains commercial spaces on the lower ten floors, while the upper levels house residential apartments ranging from 80 to 200 square meters.
The narrow design of the building, with a base width of 24 meters, required specific architectural solutions to maximize the available 3,300 square meter plot.
