Rittergut Endschütz, Cultural heritage monument in Endschütz, Germany.
Rittergut Endschütz is a manor house with outbuildings and farm courtyard forming a historical agricultural estate in Thuringia. The property includes several structures arranged around a central yard, typical of 19th-century noble estates.
The estate belonged to the Wolfersdorf family until 1869, when Joseph Reichardt acquired it. Later the Sieber family managed it and ran extensive farming operations on the property.
The estate carries the name of an old noble family and shows how landowners lived in previous centuries. Visitors can see in the manor rooms how a rural estate was organized and run.
The property can be visited but is sometimes busy with active work, so it helps to check ahead. Visitors should bring appropriate clothing for farmwork or staying on an active property.
The manor house won the Greiz County Monument Protection Prize in 2007 for its careful restoration. This recognizes how the current owner maintains and restores historical buildings to their original condition.
