Schloss Neuenhof, Medieval château in Eisenach, Germany.

The castle stands on elevated terrain along the Werra River bank, surrounded by a 3.5-hectare landscaped park with historical pathways.

The property, initially known as Neuer Hof in 1405, belonged to knights Johann and Wenzel von Stein zu Liebenstein before its reconstruction in neo-Gothic style in 1863.

The castle grounds include the Neuenhof Church and a park designed by Eduard Petzold between 1838 and 1843, representing 19th-century garden architecture.

Following German reunification, the von Rotenhan family regained ownership of the castle and initiated extensive restoration efforts to preserve its structure.

The castle served multiple functions through time: a retirement home in 1947, a border troops base in 1953, and later housed apartments, a youth club, and medical facilities.
