Schloss, Manor house in Altötting, Germany

Schloss Kolberg features a four-story rectangular structure with a gabled roof and a tower at coordinates 48.224953, 12.672684 in Bavaria.

The castle, built between 1699 and 1721, belonged to several noble families including the Lords of Kolberg and the Loeffelholz family from 1507 to 1564.

Michael Wening created detailed engravings of the castle in 1721, providing valuable documentation of its architectural features and historical appearance.

The castle, registered as heritage monument D-1-71-111-37, stands between Mörenbach and Sickenbach streams, near other castles like Burg Fried and Burg Kaisersberg.

In 1852, the English Sisters Institute acquired the property, marking a transition from noble residence to educational establishment in Altötting.
