Apostelin-Junia-Kirche

The Apostelin-Junia-Kirche is a modern church building in the Pfersee district featuring a rectangular structure with a wooden bell tower. The building contains a main worship hall, a chapel, residential units, and community spaces for congregation members.

The building was designed by architect Frank Lattke, with construction beginning in 2011. The project was completed and consecrated in 2012.

The church serves the Old Catholic community of Augsburg as a gathering place for worship and community life. The interior space with its altar and baptismal font reflects the religious practices of this smaller denomination.

The building is located on Siegfried-Aufhäuser-Straße 25 in an easily accessible residential area. The interior space accommodates around 80 people and welcomes visitors during worship times.

Four bells cast by the Bachert Bell Foundry hang in the wooden tower and were consecrated after their completion in 2018. These bells shape the acoustic character of the neighborhood with their daily ringing.
