The church was designed by architect Frank Lattke, with its foundation stone laid in 2011 and consecration ceremony taking place in July 2012.
The building serves the Old Catholic community of Augsburg and contains an altar, baptismal font, and seating for 80 people in its main hall.
Located at Siegfried-Aufhäuser-Straße 25, the church stands 9 meters tall internally, with its tower reaching 18 meters in height.
Four bells, cast by Bachert Bell Foundry in Neunkirchen im Odenwald during June 2018, were consecrated in the wooden bell tower.
