Räuberberg, Medieval hillfort in Görsdorf Tauche, Germany
The Räuberberg rises 58.1 meters above sea level and stands 18 meters higher than the surrounding terrain, with the Blabbergraben stream curving around its fortifications.
Archaeological excavations at the site have revealed artifacts from the 12th and 13th centuries, including iron arrowheads, scissors, nails, and ceramic pieces from both Slavic and Germanic periods.
The name Räuberberg originates from local tales about robbers who used the mountain as their base to attack travelers passing through the region.
The hill monument can only be reached through forest paths in the western section of Görsdorf, northeast of Schwenow near Lake Drobsch.
The site contains evidence of a medieval German noble castle, though no written documents from the Middle Ages mention its existence.
