No Name City, Western theme park in Poing, Germany
The park contained 40 buildings designed to replicate an authentic American frontier settlement from 1880, complete with a Main Street and period-accurate structures.
Wilhelm E. Pichler and collector Heinz Bründl established No Name City in 1987 following discussions at European Western associations meetings in Ising during 1984.
The park featured regular performances of western shows including 'Billy the Kid' with actors Tommy Krappweis and Silkirtis Nichols performing as Buffalo Child.
Visitors conducted transactions using a special park currency called Nugget notes and medallions, which could be exchanged for goods and services within the grounds.
The German Championship in Gold Panning took place at the park, allowing participants to experience the excitement of frontier mineral prospecting activities.
