Christus-Kirche Nettelkamp

Christus-Kirche Nettelkamp is a church building in Wrestedt featuring a bright interior defined by slender columns and pillars. The space is characterized by yellow-vaulted ceilings in the main area, while the altar zone uses white tones and rests on ten supporting pillars.

The church was founded in 1878 as a half-timbered neo-Gothic structure, with its tower added later as an extension to the original design. In the mid-twentieth century, the building underwent substantial renovation that introduced a new brick apse.

The baptismal font is the only surviving element from the original structure and carries an inscription that invites reflection. It serves as a physical link to the congregation's long-standing traditions.

The building houses three bells, with the largest one installed during the latter half of the twentieth century. This later addition shows how the church continued to evolve well after its initial construction.
