Pumuckl-Museum in Uthlede

A former ship's cook started gathering Pumuckl items in 1983, building this extensive private collection over time. The collection reflects how the character captured the imagination of German families and children across several generations.

Pumuckl comes from a German book series and appears on countless everyday objects throughout the collection. The red-haired character decorated dishes, furniture, and accessories that families brought into their homes, reflecting how loved this figure was by generations of children.

Visits must be scheduled in advance by email, phone, or WhatsApp since this is a private collection. The site is wheelchair-accessible and there is no admission fee.
