The Klingenhalle contains a three-field sports hall measuring 57 meters by 33 meters, with separate sections for handball, basketball, volleyball, and badminton competitions.
The facility opened its doors on August 18, 1973, following requests from local sports clubs, and received substantial renovations between 2010 and 2011 at a cost of 6.8 million euros.
The venue regularly hosts handball matches for the Bergischer HC team, providing space for 2,713 spectators during professional league games in the second tier of German handball.
Located at Kotter Straße 9 in Solingen, the complex offers parking for 460 vehicles and includes both an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a teaching pool with adjustable floor.
The facility combines three distinct athletic spaces: a competition swimming pool measuring 50 meters, a training pool spanning 25 meters, and a multisport indoor arena.
