Kloster Gerlachsheim, Premonstratensian monastery in Gerlachsheim, Germany.

The monastery complex includes a three-nave pillar basilica with a dome, lantern, and two towers featuring Baroque interiors and stucco decorations.

Founded in 1197 as a women's monastery by the Premonstratensians, the institution experienced destruction during the Peasants' War of 1525 and dissolution in 1563.

The monastery's Holy Cross Church contains detailed wood carvings and houses a collection of religious artifacts from various periods of its operation.

Located at Würzburger Strasse 83 in Lauda-Königshofen, the church remains open for daily visits while the monastery building serves other functions.

The former monastery transformed through multiple roles, from a castle to a school for the deaf in 1875, and later became a care facility in 1952.
