Berner Gutspark, Heritage park in Farmsen-Berne, Germany.
Berner Gutspark is a landscape park in Hamburg with curved meadows, small lakes, and wooded sections spread across the grounds. A classical manor house sits near the Wandse River and anchors the park's overall design.
Records of the estate date back to 1296, when it served St. Georg Hospital for centuries. In 1806 it passed into private ownership and later became the heart of a garden city-style development in the early 1900s.
The name comes from the former estate that once dominated this area, and you can still see how nature and residential life are woven together here. Walking through the park, you notice how the open spaces define the neighborhood's character.
The park is easily accessible by the U1 subway line at Berne station or by bus line 277. You will find multiple entry points along Berner Allee and Zum Gutspark street, making it simple to enter from different directions.
The grounds contain venerable lime, oak, beech, and pine trees that give the space a mature, well-established feel. Rhododendron bushes are generously scattered throughout, creating varied planting that changes with the seasons.
