Alpha-Hochhaus

The Alpha-Hochhaus is a residential building in Langen with two connected towers rising about 87 meters high and containing more than 200 apartments. The two towers have different heights, with one featuring 26 floors and the other 27 floors.

The building was constructed between 1974 and 1976 as part of an ambitious plan for multiple high-rises in the area. Ultimately, only this single tower was built while other projects in the plan never came to fruition.

The building houses hundreds of residents and creates a community environment through shared spaces where neighbors regularly interact. People encounter each other in the areas between the two towers and use these spaces for daily gatherings.

The building features elevators and staircases connecting both towers for easy access to apartments. Security cameras are positioned at the entrance and in the lift areas to ensure resident safety.

From the upper floors, residents and visitors can see Frankfurt Airport, the Taunus mountain range, and on clear days even the town of Hochheim am Main. These distant views make the building an unexpected vantage point over the region.
